Bite Sized Transformations

Transformations are often considered big things. Big ah ha’s. But most transformations, like most things in life, are composed of lots of little pieces.
I recently began a program called 30 Days to Grace by Diane Sieg. This program is a combination of conscious breathing, yoga poses, meditation and journaling.
When I started this program 30 days seemed like a long time. Then, yesterday, I thought to myself that I had completed 5 days of the program and was already 1/6th of the way to completion. Just like that I went from needing to repeat what I had done 30 more times to repeating what I had already accomplished just 6 more times.
It is amazing how quickly the little steps add up and get us to our goal. The key is to start.
What have you been contemplating transforming, but haven’t because it seems so BIG? No matter how big it is, it is still composed of little pieces.
As the old saying goes, the best way to eat an elephant is one bite at a time. So grab your knife and fork and dig in.
