The revolution is under way…have you noticed? We are at a paramount time in the history of our own cultural evolution. It’s almost as if the universe is stripping away the fat that has blinded us and we have some serious choices to make. Among the many of them is: “Do we make choices based on learned misconceptions, or do we make choices based on our inherent need to be free?”
In this case I am referring to true freedom; not the kind we fight for, vote for and die for, but the kind we gain through a deeper understanding. This freedom has its roots in the letting go of so many things. When I think of how to obtain my true freedom, I realize that I have to “unlearn” so many things that are deeply ingrained in the way that I interact with the world around me.
The person who truly needs your undivided attention is….you. I find it is so often that the person I’m not listening to enough is me. We create so much white noise that it makes it so easy not to hear our own deeper truth. This is the month to listen to your truth, and to start the internal revolution. I encourage you to ask yourself: “What is truly important to me? What truly makes me happy”
