Blogging is Like Life…

Blogging is a lot like life.
There are basic defining elements like what language do you speak and how well do you write, but all in all we can pretty much make what we want of it.
About the only rule of blogging I know of is the golden rule. Â You know, do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Â Other than that, blogs are pretty much the wild west.
You can write on them of course. Â And you can write in any form you want. Â Jokes, riddles, poems, prose, etc.
The topics for blogs are absolutely endless. Â You can blog about sports or celebrities or kids or sex or peace or politics or radio shows or spirituality or technology. Â There is even a blog about nothing called the minimalist blog.
You actually don’t even have to write. You can post photos, or drawings, designs, collages or anything else you can figure out how to get onto a web page.
So how is blogging like life you ask.
It is pretty much a clean slate which we get to design. Â We get to make of it what we decide. Â Sure you can make it, your blog or your life, to look like one that has come before you, but you don’t have to.
